We have an idea!!! Your child can spend those days when they don’t have school having fun in GCT’s kids theatre camps:
SCHOOL’S OUT...SPOTLIGHT’S ON!!
Your child will be in an exciting, fun-filled atmosphere where they will experience hands-on theatre activities including preparing and performing a short musical play. Students will need to bring a sack lunch and drink daily!

| About the Director | ||||
| I am a teacher who has worked with children ages from infancy ~ College age. I love to teach! I am the mother of 3 and my husband Mark and I have lived in Gardner for 17 years. My family is very involved with theatre and even my husband likes to horse around with acting. : (he drives the stage coach for the Mahaffie Stage Coach Stop). I do theatre because it gives me a chance to create; I believe that a play or show if you will is a work of art. In a play you have many artists who work together to create the picture of what the play write has envisioned; the set is the canvas, the actor the paint, the script is the brush and as a director you are the artist that puts it all together to create the masterpiece. I love it when a scene comes together that moment that script and actor and director have the same vision. I call those "light bulb" moments! | ||||

All girls have a little princess inside. During this camp we will work on classic dance steps, a Princess Play, and learn songs from our favorite Princess Stories.

Whether you are into Star Wars or Star Trek this camp is for you! Both boys and girls will be learning how to fight on stage and will learn an intergalactic play for all to enjoy!

| Young Explorers will be learning about the Animals in Kansas during this week, and will perform a Dora type skit at the end of the week for parents. This is a Morning only camp from 9:00-12:00 and cost is $35. | ||||
